On Sunday 3rd` February 2019 Rachel was invited by the Mgarr Local Council to sing with the Mgarr Band Club under the direction of Mro. Tancred Grech during “Ġieħ l-Imġarr” which was held at the Gianni Cilia Hall, Mgarr. During the night, awards to Mgarr residents were given out.
During the concert Rachel Lowell together with Georg Zammit sang the song “Vivo Per Lei” and afterwards Rachel sang “Infaħħruk Dejjem” written by Joseph Caruana and composed by Mro. Tancred Grech.
Rachel is one of the finalists of this year’s Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza with the song “Li Stajt nagħzel Jien”. The song is composed by Mark Spiteri Lucas and written by Rita Pace.
